Rockhopper Reserve 2003 SOLD OUT

This wine differs from virtually anything else you've tasted. A unique blend of robust Cabernet Sauvignon and concentrated Carménère, Rockhopper, like all the PengWine wines is blended from grapes grown in Chile’s renowned Maipo Valley. The Carménère proved so flavorful this vintage, that the final blend carries only 15 percent of Chile’s special grape. Still, you will be intoxicated by the earthy, bold nose of this wine. Carménère, once thought to be universally extinct, was re-discovered in Chile and adds a spice and earthiness to the great fruits and texture of the Cabernet. Bring a wine that will be the centerpiece of conversations.
