PengWine teams with Albertsons to donate a portion of wine sales toward zoo's new penguin exhibit
May 04, 2009
From Chile, PengWine’s award-winning wines are each named after different penguins that make their home along South America’s shores. Humboldt penguins enjoy nesting along the central Chilean coast north to Peru. The zoo’s exhibit mirrors the Peruvian coastline. The PengWine Humboldt is a vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon-based, red, Bordeaux-style blend made of grapes that thrived in the same climate that these birds enjoy.
When you buy a bottle of PengWine Humboldt to enjoy with your friends and family, you can also support the wine’s namesake close by at their home at Woodland Park Zoo.
WHEN: PengWine will be available in select Seattle area Albertsons stores starting Wednesday, May 6, 2009
WHERE: Albertsons stores in Redmond, Magnolia, Aurora, Mountlake Terrace, Eastgate, Mill Creek, Lynnwood and Mercer Island will participate (store addresses listed below)
